What Is "Tracking Assurance"?
Many LBS solution providers offer GPS exclusively. GPS alone, however, is insufficient to consistently provide accurate, battery-saving whereabouts for over half the M2M market. GPS fails-until now this has been a frustrating but accepted fact in the LBS industry. ACME Tracking provides real-time geographic information using Wi-Fi, Cell Tower and even VHF in some cases, regardless of GPS availability. We provide our customers with an "ACME Toolbox" consisting of a range of devices, a position server, application servers (database, maps, etc.), and many competitively priced wireless service options.
